Oh it begins… it is 6:30am on Monday morning we just got awakened by the “the lab lady”… She came to take the blood from Minnie that will give them the ability to give them transfusions during and after surgery. It is called type and cross Minnie opened one eye and said I want cold spray before you poke me… She is advocating for herself, it is amazing! Then she was the best little patient ever and took her poke they got it on the first try! Amen!!!
This is really happening… tomorrow, to Minnie, and for the first time she understands how serious the surgery is.
Please start praying for her to have unmeasurable peace both today and tomorrow morning.
I will post more later after we talk to the doctor… I should know then the time of the surgery and detail of the procedure.
love~~~
praying for you sweetheart.
Super praying for Minnie to be covered by The Lord in all areas of this procedure! Praying for peace for You, Josh and Ty as Minnie is having surgery. Love to all of you.
Praying so hard for all of you….all 4 of you are in this together. God has created such a special family in you all. May he give you all HIS strength today, tomorrow and in the days to come. You have lots of us praying for you and cheering for great healing to happen. Hugs…will be anxiously looking for more posts.
“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”
Lord Jesus, I pray that your hand would guide this whole process from sedation through surgery and into recovery and healing. That Minnie will be dreaming peacefully while the Doctors are mending her body. Thank you for the blessing of Minnie’s life and the lives of her family. We pray that you be glorified through this process. God, please give Ty, Josh and my best friend an insurmountable peace that assures them of your goodness and faithfulness and great calm while they wait to see Minnie.
AMEN
Love you all and I wish with all my heart that I could be there to get you coffee or just hold your hand Rach. The Duncan Household will be praying tomorrow!
